The crispy was exactly that. Crispy. Moist on the inside and complimented with the lemon Add ons. Would recommend, size is huge so a great plate to share. Shio ramen reminded me of the same flavor profile as the ones in Japan which is the first I’ve found in the US. I would recommend this with the egg which has been marinated in a soy sauce and pairs well with the light broth. The tonkotsu ramen had a light seafood flavor to it which isn’t my cup of tea but may be for others. (Don’t let that scare you off) The side garnishes like the seasoning sauce and hot sauce helped to mellow it out for me. I still haven’t found a tonkatsu ramen that hits like the ones in Japan but this is definitely the best I’ve had in the US. Our waitress Natalie was very attentive, energetic, and provided excellent service. I will definitely be back for the shio ramen and crispy chicken.

A fun date with my husband! Since we were already in Carrollton, where there are so many great Korean restaurants, we originally planned to have Korean food. But after spending way too much time trying to decide what to eat, we ended up coming to this Japanese ramen restaurant that my husband had saved on Google Maps a while ago. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a nice atmosphere. Since it was a date, we even treated ourselves to a couple of beers, even though it was still lunchtime. 🍺 We ordered chicken karaage as an appetizer, and each of us picked a different ramen. The chicken karaage was absolutely delicious, and the ramen was just as satisfying. We both really enjoyed our meal and left happy. One funny thing happened when we walked in. The staff greeted us with "Irasshai!" in Japanese. It made me smile because the proper greeting is actually "Irasshaimase." I'm guessing the staff members were all American, so they probably just learned the shortened version. As someone who knows a little Japanese, I couldn't help but smile and secretly wished I could teach them the full expression. 😂 Overall, we had a great experience, and I'd definitely come back.

Came here on a whim and I'm glad I did. My friend was visiting from out of town and wanted ramen. They also have some sushi dishes and tacos which were good. The kids meal is a deal. So much food for around $13. They get a bowl of ramen, plus fried rice, chicken and fries and ice cream. Happy hour is daily here from 2-5 p.m. So don't miss out on that either. Service was good. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but our dining experience felt a little awkward at times. Our server, Avery, was polite, but some of our interactions felt somewhat uncomfortable. When she would come to our table to take our order, check on us, or ask if we were ready for the check, there would often be long pauses after we responded, which made the conversations feel a bit awkward. We also felt slightly rushed when the check was offered while I was still finishing my meal. It may not have been the intention, but it gave the impression that we were being encouraged to wrap up our visit before we were ready. We understand that everyone has different communication styles, and this feedback is simply meant to be constructive. We just hope future guests can enjoy a more relaxed and comfortable dining experience.

This food was so good it had me gripping the shoulder of the person next to me and I didn’t even know them. Best cucumber salad in town. The Birria ramen was very light on the stomach and tasted lightly of sweetness. The noodles were bouncy and the meat was fall off the bone tender. Very cute restaurant and awesome food service. Our server was named Micheal and when we asked him for a “concerning amount of limes” he made it his top priority to make sure we got those limes. When that man gave me that cucumber salad it was like the heavens above split open to bless me with a cure to every disease, negative thought, and bad ex boyfriend I have ever had. That man was so kind I hope every time he sleeps the covers are nice and cold. I hope everytime he steps outside he finds a crisp $100 bill. I hope him AND his brother win the lottery and that every work-out drink they enjoy is always 80% off. I hope that god himself makes Michael the boss of not only JINYA but the heavenly gates above. Oh yeah the tacos were good too lol
